Illinois PTSD & Concussions Car Accidents

A mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) can cause life altering changes to a person’s life, job, & family. According to a new investigations by the appropriator from science, greater research and studies are needed to better treat these types of traumatic brain injuries.

Common Symtoms after a mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) may include one or more of the following: headaches, memory loss, anxiety, depression, inability to focus or concentrate, blurred vision, nausea, committing, difficulty walking, word loss, inability to speak or hear, and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

PTSD is a severe anxiety disorder that can occur after seeing or experienceing an event that causes psychological trauma.  PTSD can occur after an car accident traumatic brain injury.  In turn, a person with PTSD can become depressed, suicidal, develop insomnia.Treatment is often thearpy combined with medication.
