A new Illinois law called “Athletic Concussion Protection Act of 2011”. This new 2011 Illinois Concussion Law prevents all athletes under 18 years and recently injured from taking part in practices and or games until they receive written clearance from a physician to return. 
How can you tell if someone has a concussion ? What are the common symptoms after head trauma?

Common symptoms of a Cook county traumatic brain injury / Concussion (you may have one or more symptom): Headaches, Blurred vision, Nausea, Vomiting, Mental state changes. Symptoms may appear immediately or gradually develop shortly after head trauma, car accident or slip and fall.
